Explaining the Curriculum links
Links from the NSW Syllabus, Australian Curriculum, Queensland Curriculum have been provided due to the author's current and past locations.
While each state has their own curriculum, they are all derived from the Australian Curriculum.
The links below connect both the digital technologies and design and technologies resources to these curriculums.
Design and Technologies resource links are sub-titled and highlighted in blue while Digital Technologies resource links are sub-titled and highlighted in purple.
To enhance learning, the resources are also explicitly linked to General Capabilities and Cross-Curriculum Priorities.

Direct links to the NSW Syllabus for Stage 2 (Years 3 & 4) can be found on the BOSTES tabs to the left .
These links connect the NSW Syllabus Content, Elements and Outcomes to the learning areas of the resources outlined in both the Digital Technologies and Design and Technology resources. These links have been included as this is the Syllabus the author is required to follow during practicums in the NSW education system. The NSW Syllabus is built from the Australian Curriculum. |
Both resources are focused on explicit links to the Australian Curriculum. To guide you to them directly, they have been labelled under their content descriptor code where you can locate additional information in the Australian Curriculum website.

Queensland Curriculum links
By the end of Year 5: Information, materials and systems (resources) The characteristics of resources are matched with tools and techniques to make products to meet design challenges.
Technology as a human endeavour Technology influences and impacts on people, their communities and environments. |
By the end of Year 5: Students use the essential processes of Ways of Working to develop and demonstrate their Knowledge and understanding. They develop their ability to work technologically by generating, assessing and communicating design ideas and by selecting, manipulating and processing resources, to individually and collaboratively design and make products.
